At Doctors' Weight Loss & Medical Spa, we are committed to providing exceptional medical weightloss and aesthetic services. This refund policy outlines our practices regarding refunds andcancellations for our various services.

General Refund Policy

Medical Weight Loss Programs

Initial Consultation Fees:

Initial consultation fees are non-refundable once the appointment has been completed

If you cancel your initial consultation with at least 24 hours notice, you may reschedule withoutpenalty

No-show appointments forfeit the consultation fee

Weekly Medication Programs:

We operate on a pay-as-you-go weekly basis with no long-term contracts

No refunds on medications that have been dispensed and taken from the premises

Medications are prescription items and subject to controlled substance regulations

GLP-1 Weight Management Injections:

No refunds on administered injections or injection supplies that have left our facility

Home injection kits are non-refundable once patient education has been provided

Body Contouring Services

Radiofrequency Body Sculpting:

Single treatments are non-refundable once performed

Package deals: No refunds after 24 hours of purchase

No refunds after service performed

Transfers to other services may be available at management discretion

Radiofrequency Microneedling:

Non-refundable once treatment has been performed

Pre-treatment consultation fees are non-refundable

Package refunds available only within 24 hours of purchase and before any services performed

Skin Rejuvenation Services

Facial Treatments:

Individual treatments are non-refundable once performed

Package deals may be refunded only within 24 hours of purchase and before any servicesperformed

Products purchased in conjunction with treatments are non-refundable

Medical-Grade Skincare Products:

No refunds on skincare products once purchased

No returns on any products due to health and safety regulations

Custom-mixed or special-order products are final sale

Exceptional Circumstances

Medical Contraindications

If our medical team determines you are not a suitable candidate for a purchased service due to:

Unexpected medical conditions discovered during evaluation

Drug interactions or contraindications

Safety concerns identified by our physicians

We will provide:

Full refund of unused services

Credit toward alternative appropriate treatments

Transfer to different treatment modalities when medically appropriate

Service Quality Issues

If you experience legitimate service quality issues:

Report concerns within 48 hours of treatment

We will investigate and work toward resolution

Remedies may include treatment correction, partial refund, or service credit

Resolution will be determined by medical director review

No Refund Situations

The following are strictly non-refundable:

Completed medical consultations and evaluations

Administered medications or injections

Performed treatments or procedures

Opened skincare products or supplements

Services cancelled with less than 24 hours notice

No-show appointments

Packages purchased more than 24 hours ago or after any service performed

Package Policies

Treatment Packages:

Must be used within 12 months of purchase

No extensions beyond 12-month period

Unused sessions forfeit after expiration

May transfer between similar services at management discretion

Phone App Membership Program:

$35 monthly membership for phone app access and features

Monthly memberships may be cancelled with 30-day written notice

No refunds on current month membership fees

Unused app features expire at end of membership period

App membership is separate from medical services and has separate terms

Other Services:

All medical services operate on a pay-as-you-go basis with no long-term commitments

No contracts required for weight loss programs or aesthetic treatments

Medical services are individual or package-based

Cancellation Policy

Appointment Cancellations:

24-hour minimum notice required for all appointments

Less than 24 hours notice: charged 50% of service fee

No-show appointments: charged full service fee

Medical emergencies considered on case-by-case basis with documentation

Service Cancellations:

Treatment packages may be cancelled within refund periods outlined above

Written notice required for all cancellations

Refunds processed within 5-10 business days

How to Request a Refund: 

Contact our office within applicable refund timeframe 

Provide original receipt and reason for refund request 

Complete refund request form 

Allow 5-10 business days for processing 

Refunds issued to original payment method

Required Documentation:

Original receipt or payment confirmation

Photo ID matching payment method

Completed refund request form

Medical documentation if applicable

Important Notes

Health and Safety Regulations:

Many medical and aesthetic products cannot be returned due to FDA and state health departmentregulations

Prescription medications are controlled substances with strict return limitations

Used or opened products pose contamination risks and cannot be resold

No Guarantee Policy:

We do not guarantee specific weight loss results

Individual results vary based on numerous factors

Refunds are not provided based solely on treatment outcomes

Realistic expectations discussed during consultation process

Dispute Resolution

If you have concerns: 

First, speak directly with your treating provider 

Contact our office manager for administrative issues 

Request meeting with medical director if needed 

Written complaints will receive written response within 5 business days

Binding Arbitration:

Disputes over refunds may be subject to binding arbitration

Florida state law governs all refund policies

Legal fees may apply for frivolous refund claims
